This new compact utility vehicle (CUV) reflects the essence of Dodge muscle cars and takes it one step further. It comes in two highly coveted trims, the entry-level GT and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) model, the R/T trim. We expect the 2023 Dodge Hornet GT to start rolling out to the dealership by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. The Hornet R/T should be arriving in Spring 2023. Dodge Hornet R/T | The First-Ever Electrified Dodge Performance Vehicle

The Dodge Hornet R/T is the first-ever plug-in hybrid performance Dodge vehicle. It retains all the muscle and power that Dodge vehicles are renowned for and is more efficient than ever. With the R/T trim, you get a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine that punches out over 285 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The 2023 Hornet R/T also has a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery that allows you to drive 50 kilometres on electric power alone. This all-wheel drive vehicle has a six-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters that are geared for athletic performance. Enjoy a quick launch off the line with the R/T's 6.1-second acceleration from 0 to 97 km/h.

Dodge Hornet GT | Fueled by The Hurricane4 Engine

The 2023 Dodge Hornet's base trim is the GT. If you want the segment's fastest and most powerful CUV for under $40,000, then the Hornet GT is for you. It's equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged Hurricane4 engine paired with a fully electronic nine-speed transmission. This engine delivers over 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This trim can take you from a complete stop to 97 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. Utilize Sport Mode that optimizes the 2023 Hornet to deliver sporty handling and tight steering.
