Making a Winter Survival Kit for Your Car

It’s always good to be prepared in case your car breaks down, especially if you live in a climate that experiences harsh winter temperatures. Keep a kit with you to help you pass the time or get out of a sticky situation.

Basic items like a tow rope, a flashlight, jumper cables, a tire gauge and a toolbox are excellent to always keep with you. You’ll want to include a roll of duct tape, some emergency signs or flares, tire sealant and a battery powered cell phone charger. Keep warm by including a blanket and some spare clothing items, as well as entertainment like snacks, water and toys for the kids or a book for yourself.

If you’re looking for a vehicle that’s especially good in winter conditions, stop by Chudd's Chrysler Ltd. to view our selection. We’ll arrange for you to take one on a test drive and can answer any winter driving questions you may have.
